Chairman’s Message
On behalf of my fellow Board Members, it is with great pride that I, as the founding Chairman of Canadian College Kuwait (CCK), welcome you to the launch of Kuwait’s newest higher education institution. As a branch campus of one of Canada’s finest institutions – Algonquin College – we will provide Kuwaiti students with opportunities to earn internationally-recognized diplomas granted by our parent institution and to build a strong foundation for future success.
The goal of the CCK Board has always been to connect the limitless potential of Kuwaiti youth with an education that would provide them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their personal careers and make a meaningful and lasting contribution to the future of our great country. We believe that the strength of Kuwait is in its people and it is our responsibility to ensure that, through education, future generations can lead healthier and more productive lives and fulfill the dream of building a brighter future for their families and communities.
Throughout my adult life, I have had many opportunities to experience and assess international higher education institutions and their programs. Based on this experience, I firmly believe that the Canadian model, with its links to global industries, its competency-based, employment-related curricula, its quality assurance systems, and its emphasis on critical thinking, is one of the best in the world. In particular, I believe that Algonquin College’s commitments to excellence and innovation and its integration of technology into its curricula and teaching methods is a model for the 21st century and make it an excellent fit for Kuwait and its youth.
One of the key underlying philosophies of Algonquin College is “Your Success Is Our Success”. This is a philosophy that my fellow Board members and I share and it is one of the guiding principles of CCK. We sincerely hope that, once you get to know us, you will consider joining us and providing us with the opportunity to contribute to your future success.

As the Vice President for Academic Affairs, I am sharing my pleasure and pride of all of our staff and faculty members.

I am happy to say that the college is now on its way to implementing the 2 + 2, which enables diploma holders to complete their university studies to obtain a bachelor’s degree in the same college.
